Since 2016, Blackbird Salon has proudly served guests throughout The Woodlands, Sterling Ridge, Spring, Magnolia, Conroe, and the surrounding areas. Our salon specializes in luxury hair color, blonding, balayage, extensions, haircuts, gloss treatments, and personalized styling services.

The Story Of
Jennifer, owner of Blackbird Salon, wanted to give her clients more than she could while working at a well-known salon in The Woodlands. So in September 2016, she opened Blackbird Salon.
In her first year, Jennifer worked 10 to 15 hour days, saying yes to every opportunity and quickly growing her clientele. By year two, she was becoming the successful, respected stylist she set out to be, but it also revealed a new calling.
She realized she wanted to do more than work behind the chair. She wanted to help other stylists succeed. Inspired to change the negative perception of the industry, Jennifer began mentoring others, teaching not only hair techniques but also business and marketing skills.
Today, Blackbird Salon offers a mentoring program where new stylists start in an Associate Program. After graduating, they work alongside Jennifer as full-time stylists.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance for color appointments and special event styling, especially during busy seasons.

Appointment times vary based on the services being performed. Our team can provide an estimated timeframe when booking.

Late Arrival
If you’re running late, please let us know! Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require us to adjust or reschedule your appointment. We’ll always try our best to accommodate you while staying fair to all of our guests.
Cancellation
Life happens, we get it! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service.
Adjustments
We want you to love your hair! If something doesn’t feel quite right, please let us know within 7 days so we can make it right at no charge. Refunds are not offered, but we’re always happy to adjust your service. Your feedback is always welcome!
Children
To help maintain a relaxing environment, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for children during your appointment when possible. We love little ones, but our salon space is designed to be a peaceful escape for everyone.
